If there are average speed cameras all it means is a lot of drivers don't know what the word average means.

It's kind of amusing following then watching some of them as they suddenly brake when they see the camera. :rolleyes:

Well the Satnav shows the same speed with my car, in one newer car I tried it in it's states 3pm under the speedo (at around 70)

The point - people who ignore speed limits will continue to do so. Cameras that detect average speed- no problem. Slow down on entry. Speed up. Slow down on exit.
