When I bought my place the guy left B&Q flooring and wall paper in the attic.
I immediately took it back for a refund- was the best part of £150 :money:0 -
Many years ago some friends inherited an unwanted dining table and chairs with their house purchase. Promptly sold the items through local paper classified for £25 (good money in those days)If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

When I moved into my first home the lovely lady I bought from asked if I wanted her oven and fridge as she was moving to a new build with it all included - but I wasn't to think she was trying to dump stuff on me and she'd get it dumped if I wanted. Seeing as I'd got nothing hardly at the time I was more than grateful, they lasted me years. And she left the house immaculate, and a bottle of wine and a card to welcome me to my new home.
Some people are just plain nice!0 -
I got a garage full of tools and DIY stuff. Fab.
Described as "junk" - but presumably by someone who doesn't like the smell of engine oil0 -
A friend found that the garden gate had been removed when she moved into her home - god knows why the Vendor wanted that !0

One place we considered on buying but didn't, had everything as optional aside from the kitchen and plumbing. I mean fixed units were not included and would be taken down and took with them if you didn't buy them, like wardrobes, medicine cabinets, curtain poles etc.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
We moved 2 years ago and the house and garage were stripped bare except for a wooden leg in the middle of the garage floor complete with brown shoe0

I'm surprised my buyers from a few years ago aren't on this thread - I took the lock from the downstairs cloakroom.....

Had a similar thing but this was in a rented house. Front room, they had painted the floor boards black. The room had various bits of 70's furniture and a blue rug..........I got permission to bin all these items, when I moved them......they had painted around the furniture and the rug!!!0
