I hope all the bored housewives who invite the postie in for a quickie now withdraw their favours in protest0

Off topic sort of but......... I have NO sympathy with the postal works. P12/13 of todays Sun shows a young lad of 18 who went to work (he is a soldier) and now has no legs, no left hand and a disfigured face.
Turn over to page 15 and you see the lazy !!!! postal workers stood round a fire. They think their job/pay/working conditions bad at RM, let them all try doing Craig Wood's job.
ARGHHH made me mad!!!
Rant over, feel slightly better now0 -

I have no sympathy for the postal workers either, they should be grateful theyve got a job with all those out of work at the moment! Royal Mail willl probably loose some business over this long term and lay some off then theyll be kicking up a stink again. If they would stop loosing / stealing, damaging items etc then I would think maybe they would deserve a payrise until then they should learn to do the job theyre paid for and stop moaning. Tha majority of people think they dont earn enough, have poor conditions blah blah but just get on with itWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

One of the reasons for these strikes, as far as I'm aware, is that staff are saying they are being bullied by management.
I found this quote from a CWU activist on the workersliberty website:
"Don’t forget that we’re working with casuals on a day-to-day basis, not just on strike days. People give them the cold shoulder and don’t co-operate with them. We’ve made our feelings towards them clear. We’ve started to approach a few of them, but not as a branch or in an organised way. So far we’ve only got about a dozen casual staff in our office, but they are aware of how we view them.".
Is this not bullying in itself? It seems hypocritical to me..."A bank* is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain."
(*Unless it's Santander. The branch says they sent you an umbrella 3 times already and don't understand why you don't have it yet and want it back right now!!!)0 -
They are doing themselves out of their own jobs, and I won't feel sorry for them at all... it makes me mad that were amidst a reccession and they are not making thing any better for this country by doing this right now, it makes me sick and I think they are selfish and dont think of the concequences and the bigger picture!0
