But if the clocks hadn't changed back it would be dark for an hour longer in the mornings. If it gets dark earlier as the year goes on then it would get dark even earlier if the clocks didn't change.

I really don't like the clocks going back; as I finish at 6.30pm twice each week. :(

    Really?

Where do you live? In the very north of Scotland?

My family are from Ireland, the west. Which is actually the north-west quarter & it stays light so late there in summer.

I love that, because I love the light evenings & I hate the winter:(

Not way up, but north of Aberdeen.

Wow, so its dark till 9am then:eek:

I can see why you like the clocks changing.
  • I am so happy! All babies slept until a very respectable 6.20am. There was a dodgy time at 10.30am where they were all shouting for their lunch but apart from that, the day went like a dream and they are still in routine.

I'm now dreading winning the lottery on Saturday.
  • Its now 3:30pm Monday afternoon and i'm still trying get to grips with these new times :rotfl:

    grrrr, lost my post!!

i dont find any trouble adjusting to the time change, im always busy on a sunday so dont notice an hour less/more.

in the papers at weekend rospa was saying how they think summer time/double summer time should be introduced instead of clocks going back as the kids no longer need the light to travel to school...

i dont agree! i have horrid memories of walking to school in the dark and being thankful for when clocks went back!

plus it was fab not having to put any lights on this morning and found it much easier to get up with it being lighter outside
