. And it is a pain trying to adjust a routine for several days beforehand just for something as pointless as a clock change.
I think I'll just try keeping them up a bit later the night before, as trying the above last year just didn't work.
Bah!
No on the day they go back you get more.
You get less when they go forward in spring.0 -
I love it! An extra hour in bed... Earlier sunrise so I get to see more sun in the morning, on the way to work... Brilliant!
On the other hand, I hate the clocks going forward in the spring, for exactly the opposite reasons!Cogito, ergo sum.0 -
Looking forward to the extra hour! and I love dark nights too (get some peace from kids knocking on and neighbours popping round lol).. I've never had an issue with sleeping patterns being disturbed.. surely you can adjust quite quick to one measly hour!

We're all looking forward to it - we dread it going forward!
Much prefer autumn and winter, love them. Hate summer and spring.0 -

General comment ....
You do not get an extra hour - there are only ever 24 hours in each day. It's only the clock that's adjusted
Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

I'm looking forward to it, my youngest normally gets up at 6:30, and falls asleep at 7:30, so from Sunday he'll be up at 5:30 (giving me more time to get things done before school), and falls asleep at 6:30 (in theory)(giving me quiet time from earlier in an evening) .You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0

I'm looking forward to it. I really hate the dark mornings.0

I prefer lighter mornings so I'm quite happy with it. When I used to get the train to and from work, I used to hate the darker mornings when I'd have to walk to the station - always much scarier than the darker evenings when it was busier and I felt much safer.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0
