I hate it as i suffer from SAD, its when the clocks go back that it seems to affect me full pelt, though i havent suffered with it for ten years after having the kids but what with the current economic state and not being able to find work in over 18 months, i'm already down! And yes the lady in the avatar is me

I will be working a 12 hour night shift that becomes thirteen hours.
Must annoy someone by starting a one hour process at 02.30 and noting the finish time as 02.30.Been away for a while.0 -
I can't wait, find the dark nights much safer, I can go out at night but can't as much in the day & love being all warm & cozy inside, love the cold & rain & dark, no having to roast in coats & hot weather, my mood will lift now, think I must have the opposite of SAD!0

I am prone to SAD, but now I take my vitamin D I'm much better.DH has a light box but it doesn't do me much good.
For those of you who are confused - the clocks will go backwards, so if your child normally wakes at 8am then they will now wake at 7am on the clock.
If you have a teenager they will not get up any earlier, they will still stay in bed till noon after the clocks go back.:rotfl:
I used to work shifts, and the clocks didn't stop, just went really slowly - they were operated by a central unit and those hours seemed very long. The weekend was reorganised so we didn't work 13 hours though. We came in an hour later, the time had already been worked in the previous 8(9) hours shift.Simple, eh?
I do think we need the change, though, living and working in Scotland where it's dark going to work in the mornings, it makes a difference to light levels in the mornings, in deepest winter the kids would be giong to school in the dark if we didn't change the clocks, and we definitely don't want that.;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I really can't see what all the fuss is about
it's ONE hour! I have three kids and have never found it to be a real problem. They might be up ealier on the sunday but over a few days of adjustment they get back to their usual sleeping Patterns.
But, to the poster with triplets, hope it goes well for you getting them back into their routine, you have my utmost respect!!!
The clocks going back reminds me that Christmas is just around the corner, whoo hoo!

I suffer from SAD and hate the dark nights and morning.
I find it takes about 2 weeks for my bodyclock to adjust after we change the clocks. I really do not understand why we have to change themThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0
