you'd think watchdog would be onto this company by now, this scam has been going on for as long as i remember by them

As I've said if it isn't TV worthy then it doesn't matter how many complain. Not only has this been going for as long as I remember but also people have been reporting it to Watchdog for as long as I can remember. But for every Vistaprint victim reporting to Watchdog, there'll be a 1000 other scams reported and it's not so much about importance or duration but what's more entertaining and the luck of the draw from the pool of different scams to focus on. It's already been on BBC Radio so it's not as if they're not aware of it so it's probably pointless to keep reporting it to Watchdog but to report it to Radio 4 instead.

  • I can't believe I have just let myself in for this scam as well - serves me right for not checking my bank statement more thoroughly. Maybe I have not learnt my lesson. Yes, VPRewards.com have very kindly been removing £9.95 from my account -and now they owe me £150!! Have written to my bank to cancel the monthly sum, and hope it stops the situation. But i would very much like my money back! If anyone has a telephone number or address for VPRewards.com I would very much like to have it.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing form someone soon.
  • This is an absolute scam. I very carefully read all T&Cs before clicking Accept buttons on web sites and I was not offered the opportunity to accept or decline the offer to be part of their rewards programme - at £9.95 per month!

They have the original email they sent to me confirming my membership - but can't forward it to me again.

They say they have now cancelled my membership - but I do not trust them.

Interestingly they advertise heavily on Google, Freeindex, etc - so I shall approach these companies and ask if they are aware of the number of complaints about them.
  • chockydrop - phone number that worked for me is 0845 672 2002.

Very pleasant lady - obviously used to dealing with irate complainers!
  • This also happened to me I tried to cancel with them by email and by using their automated service but they just kept on taking the money I complained to Capital One as this was the account they were taking money from Capital One refused to stop the payments and would not cancel my card despite me paying my balance in full they said they would continue to allow Vprewards to take the monthly payments, which i think is disgusting they were not very helpful at all. however i have managed to get another number for Vprewards which i have just rung and spoke to a person she has assured me my "mebership" has now been cancelled and they will take no more payments they would not however give me a refund the number is 08456722002 hope this helps

they are now also using clubprem.com

    Payment to Clubprem.Com 9.95

same telephone number as vprewards.com some foreign woman who was not helpful at all and insisted her manager was in 'the meeting room' then asked for a supervisor, who was also in 'the meeting room' i told her she was lying and i told her i would be taking the matter further, then i hung up after a long pause.....

    NOT HAPPY

i was also scammed by them, and discovered they had charged me £9.95 on my credit card last month, a couple of months after i had bought some stationery from vista print.
I called them on a number i got off this thread, and the girl was rather cheeky (probably fed up of god knows how many people who have been scammed phoning her!!) and wouldnt give me a refund.
so, i then e mailed vista prints to tell them i wasnt pleased about this and i wanted to cancel my account with themselves an didnt want anything else to do with them.
i am very careful when buying online, and couldnt believe i hadnt noticed it when buying the stuff from vista print, but i only had to enter my e mail address once, and had accidently input it wrongly, and hence didnt receive the e mails from vprewards. BUT when i complained to vista print they said i defo did sign up to it as i had input my e mail address twice as confirmation to join the scheme - this is what i find so suspicious as i know i wouldnt have entered my e mail address wrong twice, and so it should have been flagged up, so im certain they are lying about this.:angry::angry:
they thankfully didnt take any money from my credit card this month, so im hoping thats the end of my dealings with vista print & vp rewards!!
when i called my credit card company they sent me out a form to complete to say that i had cancelled the supscription and the details, and then anytime vp rewards took money from my credit card they would be able to claim it back for me. :D

Yes they are still scamming people BIG TIME. I have spoken to the investigations department at my bank and they will now look into this foul and unacceptable practise. Local news may be interested?
