just got off the phone to t-mobile and 3rd time lucky got a better deal !!

i called the usual number and was told they could do nothing for me, as she was giving me the speach about the deal being £30 p/m my phone cut off, I decided to order through dial a phone and just as i was about to click 'buy' when I decided to call T-mobile one last time, I spoke to a fantastic Cs lady who was pleased to match the offer I had quoted,

Keep trying !! will update this afternoon to make sure no problems completing the deal,

Just wanted to check mishkanorman, can you advise how you went about the call...

Was it literally just a case of "Hi, I want a G2 Touch and have found it for X price with X mins/texts/internet and just wondered if you could match it?"

Don't give up. Ask for them to consult their team leader or supervisor to see if they can offer you something better. I'm waiting for my phone today, but I'm not sure if they use Royal Mail or not. If they do, I'm knackered for today
