htc hero offers UPDATED £22 P/M reduced offers t-mobile

Are you CERTAIN that they have put you on an 18 month agreement and not 24 wizk1? Have you got it in writing as I have heard horror stories of people thinking they were signed up to 18 months and it turned out to be something else completely.

I hope you are right but as I said, get it in writing to cover your back.

wow what an arrogant !!!!, orange quoted the 'best' offer at £40 for an 18month, even though the website is cheaper ?

shall try t mobile in the morning and ask for a price match.

Absolutely positive. I'm extremely meticulous when it comes to things like this, and got the lady to confirm everything back to me. (I also thought this was too good to be true). I'll be receiving everything through the post tomorrow, I'll triple check (seeing as I've already double checked today lol) and then let you know if it was an error on their front.

Worst case scenario, I'll quote the distance selling rules to them and send the thing back if it isn't what I asked for.

I just got this phone today with 600 anytime mins, unlimited texts and 500MB web for £29.36 a month on Orange. handset cost was £48 but managed to get a credit of £30 on the account to offset it a bit. 18 month contract.
I quoted the dial-a-phone deal with 1200 mins for the same price (after redemption) and asked them what they could do.
I spoke to Cathy - extention number 47559 and just called the 0800 number on the orange website. She was very nice, and easy to talk to.

just got off the phone to t-mobile and 3rd time lucky got a better deal !!

200 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited web, 18 month contract for the grand sum (drum roll please ) £22.00 !!!!!

Nice one!!! That's really good. Just goes to show that if you're persistent, you'll be rewarded. I guess it all boils down to who you get to speak to, and how far they're willing to go to deliver what the customer wants.
