  • I would like to start with I have been vege and respect you for your commitment. Again like others said very early the first I thought was raw chicken + cooked pizza = food poisoning!

However my DH shared a flat with a vege at uni (before we were vege.) and he could be really evangelical about his vegetarianism. No one could use his knive, pans or anything and he was viewed as a bit odd.

There was also a chap I saw on Come Dine With Me who was vegetarian and cross questioned his hosts tirelessly on the food - even to the extent of questioning them about the cheese. It is not common knowledge to meat eaters that not all cheese is vegetarian, however one woman did make jelly for pudding! That was a bit thick! As for your sister in law using bacon stock and not washing out the tuna pan that lacks respect.

So upshot is personally and this is all IMO if utensils have been washed inbetween to be upset by vegetarian food cut on the same board as meat, once washed, is extreme, but to deliberatley or because you can't be bothered to add meat to a vege's meal is not on. If you didn't know, like cheese, well fair enough.
