  • I ordered 2 x 1.9 lenses with frames for £90.00, was told from tomorrow you can order 1 for £45.00. my local asda is in Great Bridge, West Midlands

    My mum had a card through tonight from our local Asda optician.

    Deal starts tomorrow - from Tuesday 20th July to Monday 9th August, designer glasses for £45. FCUK, Goldigga, Kookai, Storm, Jigsaw and others - prices includes - frames, single vision lenses, anti scratch coating, anti reflective coating.

    purchases must be made on or before 9th August 2010

    yep i had that too. must get an up to date prescription (free from tesco ;) ) and then get to asda by 9/8:beer:

    So I guess you don't get a free eye test at Asda?

    Yes, I got a couple of pairs for £90 a few months ago. My prescription is about -11 in each eye. Going again tomorrow to get another pair for £45 :j

    -5.50 and -6.00 I got 1.67 index lenses.

    Are Asda supplying 1.74 plastic lenses ?
    Just wondered if they offer 1.9 glass as an option.
    Either way a superb offer at that price, going in tomorrow for a couple of pairs

    i got 1.9 glass from them. around -14.5 script
