Yet again Ebay are controlling sellers even more

I'm a private seller and huffed and puffed along with everyone else about the introduction of free p&p. However, I thought I would give it a shot, and I actually get more now for my items than when they were listed with postage separately. I never overcharged for postage before, and my starting price now includes postage and the listing fees.
I'm actually really happy with the free p&p both as a buyer and a seller! It's annoying when an item doesn't sell, but you used to have to pay listing charges anyway before they introduced the free 99p listings, so it's no different to how it was a while ago. The extra bit of cash I'm making on things helps to cover anything that doesn't sell.
Also, if the free p&p is putting off a lot of sellers, then there's more buyers to buy my stuff! :j"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Sigh!! _you do have the most appropriate username. If you actually read what I said I'm not looking down on 99p auctions what I am saying is due to the 99p listings people are putting so much rubbish on that its hard to find the things worth looking at..I buy things at 99p on occasion so no I don't want to exclude these from my searches what I would like less of is all the rubbish that gets listed at this price just because its free.
ok so 99p listings are fine as long as they meet your exacting standards and don’t fall into your classification of what is junk......your right that’s not arrogant at all to think that you have any right to pass judgement, remember this, you are one, just one of 15million registered ebay users and your opinion is insignificant, what you class as junk is not necessarily junk to someone else.0 -

I need H4 bulbs, but there is too much tat amongst that search. I'll look for H7 bulbs instead.
Oh. They don't fit.
or on the other hand, if you feel that there is "too much tat" on ebay try searching for H4 bulbs somewhere else.....isn't that the motto here? ebay is ebay and if you don't like it don't use it?0 -

So do we tell everyone to search everywhere for anything except ebay? So nobody will buy anything, meaning the mountains of tat build up even further?
Again, you haven't really thought this viewpoint through have you?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

you're funny, your frustration shines through your posts when someone disagrees with you and throws your own catchphrases back at you, i mean, take a minute, sit back and read that last post again and then ask yourself....”what in the hell was i rambling on about there?"......lol
it's the angered ramblings of a complete fool and makes no sense at all, sorry.....0 -
Maybe it's all just a little too complex for you...

for anything (again not anything, just those things in which there is too much "tat" in the ebay categories for your overly uptight self) except ebay? (as i said this is your motto not mine, if you don't like ebay, don't use it, surely that goes for buying as well as selling?)
So nobody will buy anything,(with 15 million registered users in the uk i hardly think the loss of you and one two other strange people with an aversion to 99p listings will lead to the whole 15 million registered users not buying the "tat", serious delusions of grandeur there my friend, you're really not that influential)
meaning the mountains of tat build up even further?(well, no it just means others will buy them and you can sod off elsewhere where you won't be so offended)
Again, you haven't really thought this viewpoint through have you?(see above, i think i have thought it through quite thoroughly...lol)
see the red bits for corrections to your earlier rant...lol0
