So all postage is free. What about postage overseas ? Thats always higher and I will definatley loose out by listing as free.
Is it just me or are there a lot of one eyed views in favor of Ebay here ?
You are wasting your time on this thread. It appears to be the EAS. 'Ebay Appreciation Society'. There are many who agree with you!!!

Its just the first domestic option that is Free actually inclusive. Maybe you should have a look at the rules. Its good if you have a rant to actually know what your talking about0 -
You don't have to sell on Ebay if you don't agree with its policies. There are other auction websites which reach the same high volume of people.... no hang on there isn't. Your just have to put up with Ebay and follow its rules or find a car boot sale to sell your stuff at.
Or you can try and bend the rules. Survival of the fittest and all that!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Im confused here, are you saying that you aren't allowed to charge for postage when you list something starting at 99p?
Young moneysaver in the making
A penny saved, is a penny earned0 -
Seeing as P&P isn't showing up in searches anyway at the moment!
I'm getting rather hacked off with all the ridiculous changes eBay is making at the moment."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0 -
Yes, but my postage charges are only 79p. Now I have to go through all my listings and change them individually in turbo Lister. Then it will be all up to date until Ebay at a whim decides to change something else.
Yes, I think I am wasting my time here as it does seem like the EAS.0 -

Ebay/paypal are not perfect there are problems with both but if you want to sell using there platforms you have to do it how they want. i'm sure your new anachronism is meant to be some sort of insult but they only really work if people know what they are0 -
It's not so much an "ebay appreciation society", but when a certain platform provides you with a near-as-dammit 6 figure annual income, you do tend to have a slightly different perspective on it.
I don't work for ebay, but I do make sure that ebay works for me.
And that means not having petulant tantrums every time a policy changes.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

I quite agree, bend the rules and either tee off your buyers and get negs or tee off potential bidders get reported and get suspended.
Survival of the fittest means that only those who understand how to use ebay will end up still being able to sell on there.

Certain categories (not all categories) have free postage (ie inclusive postage to term it correctly) and yes that applies even to free 99p listings.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
