Have you actually bothered to read the advice you've been given?

It's ok fella i will just accept it
    It's not that important
Just laughable what some people are like
By the way it was a dual carriageway so no-one could of just stepped in front of the car
The camera/police must of been well hidden for me not to have seen it
Very sneaky but it's done now

    A dual carriageway with a 30 limit.

Sounds like there must be a very good reason why such a slow limit is set.

I'm guessing you don't know what the reason is.

OP - I suggest that you take your query to the forums at www.pepipoo.com if you want some advice on how best to deal with this NIP.

you can ask what kind of camera caught you and when it was last calibrated i think a fixed one is annually and anything used by the Police has to be checked before and after a shift. You can also request the photographic or video evidence to have it checked further for the speed done.

Thanks i will take this into consideration

Some portable speed camera's can be in parked up police vans. The camera might not be visable but I'm sure a van would be

Read through the entire thread, ignore the opinions, pick out the bits of advice that are in here, and come back with some answers if you want some assistance.

As a rule of thumb, you cannot do more than 30mph in a built up area, which means houses/buildings on both sides of the road. I think it is usually 40mph if there is only housing on one side. Unless there are other signed local restrictions. It can be difficult to tell in some rural areas with lots of road side trees and set back houses. As my sister found in Buckinghamshire.
