Partner got no common sense

Hi,
I agree with Amber Sunshine. This does sound like a mild form of Aspergers syndrome. Google it and I think you'll find that your partner has a lot of the signs. I worked with a guy who was exactly like your partner - really nice, friendly bloke who was like a big puppy, so eager to please - but completely useless at doing what was required of him. He was really clever - but no common sense. He was let go after his probation period because he just couldn't do the work. I work in medical research and people like that are just viewed as 'eccentric' and never get the help they need unfortunately.
The good news is there are things that can be done for it. Would he be open to the idea that he may have a condition and go see his GP?
Having been in the prison service, maybe he could get a job in security somewhere?
Good luck!

Thanks i will google it .Don't think there would a good reaction to that but no harm trying ,although at moment tension between us is really bad all on my side not his ,i am finding really hard to forgive him i really want to lase out ,i am so cross i still can't believe he has been so stupid ,I really thought he was going to keep this one i am always on tender hooks waiting for him to come home saying he's lost anouther job ,i was beginng to feel less sressed and then he did it again. He usually gets well past probation everything always starts of really well this last one lasted nearly two years ,it's normally after about 12 mnths everything starts going wrong.anyway thanks again i will look at that0 -
He was told they will ring him to let him know... hopefully he did well... I found out that he does quite well with 2 part time jobs instead of 1 full time... it is weird.
HE works with his brother 1 day a week and trying to find another job.
I work 2 days and do well as a stay at home mum at the moment but trying to open my own business teaching Spanish...
Do you know how long you will have wait before you know, i always think this is the worst bit .Very stressfull.I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you x0 -

Hi girls,
Just to clarify - not everyone will have all the symptoms listed on the web for Aspergers.
There are different severities and forms. Your partners may not even have this condition - just that some of the behaviour seems to suggest it. Again, the guy I worked with wasn't shy either.
Best wishes,
June x0 -
