He was working in a envirament where it was inportant he didn't disclose anything about hisself or treat any of the people he was dealing with as friends.he could have left hisself open to intimandation and me.He just dosn't seem to have any sense it's always been the same
So, who was this organisation? Sounds like a company that only a zombie would want to work for.

    But what did he do.

Its very difficult to sack someone these days, there are disciplinary procedures in place which take time.

Being sacked for Gross Misconduct is normally the only instant dismissal route.

So if he knew what he was doing, do you think hes doing it deliberately to be sacked.

No he loved the job and give him his due he isn't afraid of work .and it was gross misconduct

Maybe - but we're all human beings here. And we all make mistakes. If the offence isn't anything unlawful or dishonest, then it can always be worth speaking with them.

There are always those who are willing to give others a second chance.

I was wondering whether the employers were looking for an excuse to get rid of him before the two year period was up.

I thought it sounded like probation/prison service.

It does sound to me to be rather more serious than "a lack of common sense"!
  • I understand how upset you must be, and how stressful the situation is for you, but please remember that hes probably kicking himself now using hindsight. Youre married, you need to stick together or this could cause an awful wedge between you both! Im sure he didnt do it with the intention of getting the sack, he probably wasnt aware he was even doing it. I hope you can both find a way to get by while he finds another job - look on the brightside if you can, I know plenty of people who would get the sack on purpose because they couldnt be bothered to work anymore, and would use the current financial climate as an 'excuse' for not even trying to get another, atleast hes not afraid to graft a little to put food on the table for you! Hope that helps, good luck!

Are you talking about it at all?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
