Just a bit confused, this is the 1st month of us using the GE Everday card and we have set up a direct debit for the full amount to be taken. We were told the statement is printed on the 17th so when should the money go out of the account? A couple of people have said their DDs were taken on the 16th of August?
Thanks

weird but I'm not complaining as the money stays in my account a tad longer.0 -
3% on food&petrol cashback card
if tesco's clubcardplus gives 3.3% on return on food&petrol(via deals)
would'nt it be better to get food&petrol from them?0 -

Isn't that just at Tesco?
Also, you can use the GE card in addition to any loyalty cards.0 -

I received my GE CC statement (dated 17th August) this morning.
EDIT: Again, I have received 3% cashback on everything on my statement*.:T (*again purchases have been rounded down to the nearest whole pound). Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

Does anyone understand the cashback summary? Mine gives a zero closing balance for cashback, as if it's been paid out already.0 -
Finally got it. Great that we are still getting 3% on everything. Trying to use card as much as possible before they change their minds.0

My statement shows:
- Cash Back Opening Balance (shows cash back total earned from my 1st statement).
- Cash Back Earned (shows the cash back earned for the 17th Aug statement).
- Cash Back Credited (shows the total amount of cash back earned on my GE card to date).
- Cash Back Carried Forward (currently showing £0.00).
I think the only two boxes that are of importance are the 'Cash Back Earned' and 'Cash Back Credited'. Both boxes show the correct amounts on my statement.
EDIT: Just had a look at my first statement. The 'Cash Back Earned' was correct. The 'Cash Back Credited' was £0.00 and 'Cash Back Carried Forward' was the same as the 'Cash Back Earned' figure. Perhaps they are paying out the cashback now, although their website states that cash back is paid every 6 months. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
