:-) Steve the pin is on the plastic you peeled off - stick this back onto white paper and you will be able to read it - probably too late now but just wading through thread :-)

New PIN should be on its way anyway now, ordered last week - At least I know how not to break it this time!

Managed to use card at ASDA already anyway, by ordering online, even with free delivery, all worked well. Just need to wait for statement to see the moneyback mount up!

Glad to see redagila was told that their will be an online card servicing facility sometime soon, not absoutely critical, but good to have to be able to check your current balance and that any payments really have gone through!

    Cheers

3% is given on purchases from superstores and main garages providing they accept the card. Looks as though we will have to use it and check if any retailers are missing.

Will the garages include the supermarket garages do you think?

I would have thought so, but you aren't going to tell until you try it.
I would have thought the kind of places that aren't covered are independent and same. Anything that's part of a major retailer should be covered.

I set up full payment DD but was told it only applied to the 1st month and would need to be done every month after that??

Will let u know if it was just some dippy customer service person

When I activated my card this evening (using the 0800 number), he agreed to set up a direct debit to pay the full amount each month. I did not need to ring back on an 0870 number.

Some of us have been waiting for more than a month for a reply!
  • Sent my appeal last week and today I have a creditexpert alert on my free trial.
Not applied for anything else, and it does say a search has been done.
Are they likely to do another search?
Seems to be down at the moment to check. I wonder ...

I'm not defending them, but I think there is a bit of a backlog at the moment.
I called them this morning and they said they have a 10 day backlog.

After a month I think you should be phoning them to check your letter has not bene lost in the post.
