Cash ISA's can be transferred into Stocks & Share ISA's.
The reverse should be allowed. This would be of benefit to those who need to secure their savings without losing their tax-free status.0 -

Whilst in some ways I can see the desirability of this, if the stock market were to take a sudden dive, a lot of nervous or inexperienced investors would immediately rush to transfer their equity ISAs back into cash, causing an even worse market dive which might take years to correct. It would wipe billions of pounds off the value of shares and in the long run I don't think anybody would benefit.0 -
charge a foreign driver a toll to use our roads and use this money to repair existing or build new roads. a simple one off fee as drivers enter the country would be easy to administer.0

Stop travel companies over charging during school holidays. Some firms charge triple for a school weeks holiday compared to one out of school. It would boost the UK economy as more would be able to afford a break.

Review, for example, moneysavingexpert and consumeractiongroup forums to determine any patterns of law-breaking and actions outside the Banking Code by the banks and their agents relating to account operation, complaint handling, debt collection, etc. Using new regulatory teeth, resolve and publish results of multiple/repeat problems to avoid the FSA, FOS, ICO being swamped.0

Supermarket pricing policy seems designed to make it difficult for less numerate consumers to do a straight price-comparison between the same kinds of goods. One item will be listed as £x per kg, another of the same kind as £y per 100gm. All lighter items (crisps, herbs etc) should be priced per 100 grams, all heavier items per kilogram, so that customers can easily compare like with like.0

Stamp duty should be tiered in the same way as income-tax, with the increases only being applied to the portion of the property value which exceeds the previous increment. The present system makes it very difficult to sell a house in the £250K - £300K bracket.0

you want people with disabilities into work some find it hard to do more than 30 hours a week but if we do less we are penalized and dont get the 30 hour element top up perhaps you could stop penalising people with disabilities who work less than 30 hours0

Supermarkets should allow easy price comparisons between like products on there shelves. Im am forever spending several minuits trying to work out the best deal as some items are per KGs others by 100gsm and others again by number of units. On top of that you might have a buy two for £x to contend with as well.
I dont mind which they adobt as long as its the same accross all like units of stock so I can easily see if its worth buying a months supply of chopped tomatoes to save 0.1p per 100ml or if buying the larger tin of new potatoes is actually more exspensive per gsm than the smaller one!:mad:0 -
Why do I need to tell the Child Tax Credit dept how much I've earnt when that information is already in the HMRC system? Calculating tax payments and credits together would save hours of form-filling and phone-calling, and would ultimately save HMRC money - which comes from our taxes anyway!0
