  • Foster parents deserve money they get, very hard job, the children themselves get lots of pocket money each week and are able to claim money for quite a few different activities. They should base it on what the average child gets.

    Help with rent or interest

Homeowners only get help with interest after several weeks unemployment and then it ceases after a certain time. If renting property the payments continue. This seems unfair to people who have worked hard and got their own house .. predjudice even. Especially if you cannot sell because of the market situation.
  • Your tax return contains all your income details so anyone on a low income should be told they may be entitled to working tax credit. I was not aware I could claim and lost out on many years of tax credits worth over £2000 a year!:(:embarasse:sad::cry::angry:

  • Allow pension pot to be transfered to children on death of pension holder. Retaining pension pot as pension for children in later life.
  • Don't pay benefits out to people that come into this country until they have paid into the system, other EU countries opperate this system.
  • In the Irish Republic, motorists are required to display their insurance renewal certificate in the car windscreen. I suggest UK law be amended so that the same applies here. Those who do have insurance would then be less likely to have to subsidise those who fail to insure.
  • people on benefits should not receive increases for children born whilst claiming state benefits...this would save millions with very little admin costs....when you are in work employer does not increase wage when you have children...why should sate?
  • It is now time to stop people who are not taxpayers in the UK from coming to this country taking advantage of the NHS. As a taxpayer l resent people taking advantage in this way. This has to be legislated for, therefore can only be done by our politicians.
  • Ensure equality for under 18 year olds They are not able to vote or buy alcohol so why should they pay extra for cinemas, trains and holidays. Please review why age is an issue with payment for goods. A seat is a seat regardless. In in full time education they are a child.
