Why can't our gas and electricity supply be as simple as buying petrol. The suppliers should all convert their figures to simple units. ie petrol is say £1.20 a litre. Why not make gas and electric say.... 50p per unit instead of all these conversions.0

The services provided by your local council depend on where you live. In poorer areas this can mean the difference between a repair being fixed, or the tenant being left to rot. This is unfair and the link between statutory and discretionary council duties needs to be made more equal.0

On 22 November domestic oil (pre VAT) was quoted by a buying group website at 46.5p per litre. Today, 8 December the quote is 72.75p, an increase of over 56%. Ofgem should be empowered to regulate and prevent this blatant profiteering0

Amend the Sale of Goods Act 1979 so that the manufacturer has a joint and several liability with the supplier in respect of satisfactory quality, as described, fit for purpose and last a reasonable length of time, allowing consumers to take direct action against manufacturers who avoid liability.0

If a pre-arranged delivery (e.g. furniture) fails to show up, the delivery company must compensate for recipient's time taken off work if no reasonable attempt was made to contact them in good time. Recipient must be able to prove time taken off work.

We already PAY to make calls to speak to companies that we are usually PAYING to provide us with a service i.e. banks & utiliy companies so why do we have to PAY EXTRA in the form of an 08 number to make the same call? This is daylight robbery.0

All benefits seem to run on formulas, instead of a claimant's personal circumstances. As an example, benefit cut off £50. You earn £49 - eligible. You earn £51 - ineligible. One pound over the limit does not mean you can afford to lose out.0

Make it poosible for regulators like OfCOM/OfGEM to make thieving phone/energy companies provide refunds to customers when they are found to be ripping people off.0

There are many, apparently comprehensive & professional, offers appearing in the media. To allow conscientious energy-consumers to control their future energy consumption & cost, there now needs to be a simple, regularly reviewed comparison of Solar Panel installers/providers, and of the true costs and values of investing.0
