  • Banks to show what interest rates you are getting, both online on your accounts, and on your statements
  • Nice thought but the maths is way out.
  • All towing caravans, and boats should be charged a road tax of £100 per year.

In order to help clear our country's debt each adult living in the UK could pay £20 as a one off charge. The debt could be halved within one year
I think that there may be a problem with your figures...

According to this article from July 2010...
It now emerges that our country's debt mountain means each person owes a whopping £22,000, and that for every £4 Labour has been spending, £1 of that is borrowed money. The figures also show that Labour overshot Gordon Brown's famous 'Golden Rule' on borrowing by a whopping £485 billion!
    Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
    Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
    Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
    ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)
  • In Scotland and NI it is possible to use a Presumption of Death for a person that has gone missing. This means that the people left behind can settle financial affairs, sell joint property, etc. Please extend this to England and Wales. Example is the Presumption of Death (Scotland) Act 1977.
  • Access to the Financial Ombudsman should be instant where Banks fail to properly respond to complaints and fail to meet their advertised Customer Service procedures. In other words - no more 8 week waiting to refer to the Ombudsman.
  • It is grossly unfair that the self-funding residents of care and nursing homes pay hundreds of pounds a week more, for the same care in the same home, than their fellow residents who are paid for by the local authority; self funders are thus effectively subsidising their local council. This is ethically wrong.
  • We applied for a Warmfront Grant as the cost to replace our uneconomic boiler was over £3000.00 and we can't afford it.
We had a visit from Warmfront who condemned our system and turned off the gas.
They estimate we will have to wait 6-8 months due to the Government not putting enough money into their own scheme.
Do you have central heating Mr Cameron or you Mr Clegg?

It's very annoying and misleading when researching flights because prices change within minutes. This is extremely unfair for the consumer who seeing a price in the afternoon is then given a (generally) higher price a few hours later! Also the '3 seats left' technique they use are pure lies and should be banned.

A few have mentioned having to pay council tax over 10 months, rather than 12 months.

Have you asked your council? We pay ours over 12 months by direct debit.
