Allow charities to reclaim a fixed percentage of each donation received instead of at a variable rate specific to the donor's tax status as now. End separate refunds to HR taxpayers. Allow Non-taxpayer gifts to receive same basic tax relief 'at source' as anyone else and scrap the 'tax-to-cover' rule. Charity compliance would be simpler and less costly. Giving would be simpler and hassle free......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Most gas suppliers show the KWH used on their bills. EDF do not for electricity making it impossible to accurately compare electricity suppliers0

National Grid Gas currently can charge an exorbitant sum to supply gas if there is no supply in the street.
It's unreasonable, if there's more than say ten houses, to ask one prospective consumer to foot the bill for their infrastructure improvements.
They should be forced to provide a service.0 -
SORRY. Dont agree at all. Even 1.0l cars can do upto 100mph or more, so therefore boy/girl racers can still put the foot down in small engined cars. The driving test needs to be vastly improved including skid control, poor road conditions and even high speed driving.0

All retailers must display the Sale of Goods Act (or a summary of it) in their store, along with a short statement promising that they will adhere to its provisions (similar to the Health and Safety notices that all workplaces display).0

Oblige all financial institutions to subscribe to the Faster Payments Service when making bank to bank money transfers. There is no justification to take 3 days to effect these transfers since it applies to cleared funds......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

what you really need to consider is, instead of putting vat up to 20% put it back down to 15% and nock 50% off fuel duty across the board. i would bet good money in 18 months the uk would be better off than it ever has been.:T:beer:0

This government is trying to promote entrepreneurial ventures. VAT registration is an obstacle to small business growth. If the current registration threshold of £70,000 sales were increased more people would grow their small business. Even a threshold to promote exports (say £70,000 domestic, £30,000 export) it would help.0

I'd like to see UK websites that sell products altered so that if they dont have it in stock then you cant buy it. Too many companies charge your card when they dont even have items in stock. M&S dont allow purchase, others have email me when in stock, simple.0

Now that the banks are making money again I think it is time to give savers a fair and just interest rate on their savings regardless what The Bank of England wants.0
