  • The rule should be that if a company operates in the UK, it pays tax in the UK. If the rate of corporation tax was lowered to something like 15 or 20%, companies would have an incentive to pay tax, rather than avoiding it, like BhS and Vodaphone.
  • We kick out ALL the banks, and take back the issuance of OUR medium of exchange (money) with NO interest attached. If needed (for example for a home) then loans are issued FREE OF INTEREST through OUR Common Monetary Foundry backed by our credit worthiness and labour/production/collateral.
  • Make sure NEETS can't claim JSA.

    When I left school you could not claim Job Seekers Allowance until you were 18. I therefore had 3 options, go to college, get a job or my family would have to keep me, my Mum advised that the third was not an option so I therefore went to college. There are too many young people who leave school at 16 and go straight on the "dole", this should not be an option. Young people, Not in Employment, Eduction or Training should not be encouranged into a life of not working and should be encouraged to get work, go to college or get an apprenticeship.
  • If you get a parcel from abroad via the Post Office and there is a customs charge the PO charges £8 for the privilege of delaying your parcel for days until you have paid the charge and their fee. Their fee is often more than the customs charge.

    If you have the misfortune to receive a letter with incorrect postage you have to pay the difference in the postage plus a handling fee which is, more often than not, a lot more than the initial underpayment - before they will deliver.

    Handling fees should be reduced and the process improved to reduce delay. Other companies manage to deliver first then collect the money - for less than the PO.
  • Why should people with prepayment meters have to pay more for their energy than others.
    If you pay by direct debit you get a better deal.
    These people are paying CASH up front!
    What's better than that?

    Where is the fairness?:mad::mad:

    Carers cant live on £53 a week!

    We work 24/7 no holidays or breaks & we get less than the dole money for looking after some one & saving the government £68 billion a year!
  • Compulsory 1.0L/ engine size and restricted cc limit for learner drivers and newly qualified (for 1 year). Insurance should be made cheaper as a consequence.
  • We were promised that the toll on the Dartford Crossing would stop once the bridge was paid for but instead the toll has been retained and increased. :mad:
    Other countries (eg Norway) only pay tolls until the bridge is paid for, then the toll is removed.
    Removing tolls would reduce congestion at the toll booths, saving money in fuel and time.
  • The Banks claim that people no longer want cheques. This is rubbish, lots of charities, clubs and voluntary organisations rely on cheques for their fees and contributions. The Banks are now withdrawing cheque guarantee cards to help kill off cheques! Please make them stop!
