Bank charges for going overdrawn are excessive and should at most be a (capped) percentage of the amount by which customers have gone over their limit, calculated at the end of that month. NOT a large flat rate fee which is often more than the amount people go over their limits by.
  • Genuine benefits claimants need usefulness. If you make claiming itself easier, but have a scheme whereby you have to do 20 hours to get it, with random drugs tests, and a weeks bus pass for completing it, more jobs will be created and more community projects completed.

Tax credits should not be sent to addresses in Europe (ie East Europeans). There is no method for checking the financial status of the family as a total and many are not eligible!!

I agree. If you don't pay into the system, how can you be entitled to take out of the country.
  • I plead for the abolition of the road fund licence charged for all vehicles.. most pay some some do not.

The blindingly obvious way to collect this tax is to put it on the price of fuel at the pump. This way ALL vehicle users pay..and they pay proportionate to their usage of the roads. Even thieves have to put fuel in stolen cars. HMG has never tackled or talked about doing this simple thing, they are conspire with the oil companies to NOT do the blindingly obvious.

PLEASE, GIVE it TEN SECONDS THOUGHT - THANK YOU

This is already done in most countries in Europe as part of the EU regulations. Increase the standard minimum guarantee on all goods and help protect consumers from having to spend money on unnecessary guarantee extensions.

Limit new child payments to benefit claiments where they continue to have children despite not working. One family near me have never worked but have a new baby every year - now at 6 - . This is a constant drain on our taxes.

Many times you see wonderful prices advertised and it isn't until afterwards that you realise that it didn't include VAT or delivery, etc.
My proposal is that all advertised prices are for the total cost to the customer.
  • When home educating your child/ren you take full responsibility for funding their education, you get NO help. In order to educate in a full time and satisfactory way it is not possible to work. Pay parents that stay home or set up a fund for each child.
  • This would make money management for pensioners so much easier as so many bills are payable monthly as well as saving the government 1/13th of the payment cost.

Massive cost savings. An end to the rule of Brussels bureaucrats with their ludicrous and expensive rules.
