The one to watch out for is toilet rolls. The prices don't vary a lot but in the very small print most companies vary the sheets per roll from around 160 to 240 in otherwise identical packaging. This represents a massive percentage price and profit difference.

Stop penalising, through additional road tax,those who use/need 4wd vehicles. Apart from the Chelsea tractors which are what politicians assume most people ( in London! ) have, the vast majority use 4wd's legitimately as a necessity because of their job/location. They are currently keeping the country going during this cold spell. Stop victimising them!!!

Too many so called savings accounts actually lose the saver money because the interest rate has fallen below the rate of inflation.

Require banks to at least keep their savings rates at the inflation rate.

Why should people who have contributed all their lives to the state pension who then choose to live some where else in the world be penalised by not receiving the annual increases in their state pension. Surely this can't be right. What difference should it make where you decide to live? You're still the same person who has contributed all your life to the state pension scheme so why should you be penalised if you choose to live abroad. It makes nonsense of the pension system because your pension is just going to be eroded by whatever the inflation rate is. It just seems wrong that they shouldn't receive annual state pension increases the same as everybody else does who lives in the UK. There should be no discrimination in state pension benefits.

even a standard 01 or 02 number would be better than the non geographical number

National Insurance Number or Finger Prints

for all benefits, use finger prints instead of national insurance numbers. you would save millions on fraud, if people have nothing to hide where is the harm, only those scamming the system would object. NO other department or service would be allowed to see or use the data.
