  • With the revelations from Libya about the Lockerbie Bombing being directly ordered by Clot Gaddafi and their ex Government minister revealing UK-Government involvement with the release of the convicted bomber…what is the Coalition doing to bring Gadaffi and those guilty ones in UK government to justice.
  • In ye olde days, Fish used to move magnetic clouds across a map/board, behind him, and he served a useful purpose. With current super graphics, our glamorous weather-girls are a complete distraction (though very pleasant) from the weather report. Can we save some of our TV-fee by dispensing with them?
  • Council Tax: don't punish those living with students with a 75% bill

If you are the only non-student living in a house with full-time students, you are liable for 75% of the entire council tax bill. They should only pay the full bill divided by the number of residents.
  • Some people, through no fault of their own, find themselves without work temporarily - perhaps after years of contributing to the economy... If they have more than one child why should they be punished? The rational behind this idea is good - stopping those who use benefits as a way of life, but unfortunately it's not that easy. Whilst training as a teacher I had to claim benefits and I had two children. I have more than paid that back over the last 15 years as a teacher and will continue to do so, so I don't feel that I didn't deserve that bit of help. This needs more thought I think.
  • credit cards... stop students from building up debts - no credit allowed before 21 - unless they can prove that it's for living expenses. Stop credit card companies from just giving them out like sweets. We have too much debt and need to address this.

Freefone numbers (those starting 0500 or 0800) should be free to call from mobile phones. The mobile phone companies make very healthy profits, so there is no justification for them charging to call numbers that are designed to be free...

The weight of a vehicle will have a large impact on the amount of damage that it does to the roads, so the cost of a vehicle's road tax should be determined (at least partially) by its weight. It should probably be on an exponential scale!
  • i have worked since i was 17 and in 2009 i became my mum's full time carer and receive no carer's allowance cos i work full time. Even reducing my hours i wont be able to meet current long term financial commitments. I also believe it should be paid to pensioner who look after sick people too. My mum didnt get it when my dad had cancer and he died in 2007. Yet the continue to say yes to RBS bonuses etc.
  • Your cutting back on services etc i think this should be abolish cos i work full time and as a civil servant i never received a £10 xmas bonus so why should people on benefits get a bonus. Also £25 winter allowance i have to pay for the Gas + Electric bill regardless of my income and the temp outside.
  • i read government is up to 84% in shares in RBS. If that the case as the majority shareholder, just veto to the bonuses in this bank and the like of lloyds. If you say they are leaving uk shores - it is not up to the shareholder to vote and say you cant? Regardless of losses all banks should be the 28% tax, unlike barclay who only paid 1%. could this 27% that the gov lost not have been spend on more important things???
