Why are families charged hundreds more, literally, to enjoy an annual holiday abroad in school holidays? Is this international? Travel agents should be regulated and a governing body put in place to ensure equal cost all year. INFURIATING! UNFAIR! GREEDY!0

Cut huge meter charges for prepayment customers
Most prepayment customers are the poorest members of society, yet have to pay the highest meter charges, just for the privilege of being connected to gas/electricity, whether or not they use any.0 -
Making small quantities of food available at reasonable prices
this is good provided the price remained the same regardless of the amount, eg 6 eggs cost 6 times the price of one egg0 -
As we are all trying to save money and the county is looking to save money. I would like to see a charge when non holders of British Passports enter the country as they do in Turkey. It could be as little as £10 or as high as needed. This money collected would go towards the NHS and other services that are used by people when visiting this country on holiday or business. I think this would be a great tool to gain revenue for our country.
We should also charge non British passport holders if they bring a car into the country as they use our services too. If they have an accident then the police and medical services are used. We pay for these services so why shouldnt they.
WE NEED TO LOOK AFTER OUR COUNTRY AND MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN.0 -
Close all the tax loopholes, offshore havens etc. and use the tax revenues for the benefit of the British people. If this scares a few billionaires away from the UK, who'll miss them? Stop !!!!!footing on this.0

There is a set amount available to provide education for each child, which normally goes to the school the child attends. This should be allocated to an account to be distributed for educational purposes by whoever educates the child, subject to the same transparency legislation that operates where allowances for care provision for the disabled are concerned.:T0 -
Scrap the current unemployment benefit
Pay unemployment benefit by hiring people to put back into the community
Minimum input should be 6hrs/day 3 days a week = Benefit
6hrs/day 4 days a week = 1.5 X Benefit
6hrs/day 5 days a week = 2 X Benefit
Benefit should only be paid for a maximum of 12 months
The rates of pay should in all fairness be linked to the minimum wage...(after all, they are working).... so would also give entitlement to tax credits etc. This would in all probability cost a lot more than the current £65.40 per week.0 -
Companies offer special "cut price deals" ONLY to new customers. Penalising loyal customers who then have to lie and claim they are switching services in order to get a similar deal.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

Agree that this is a sensible option. I'm not suggesting that we don't provide any support for further education but why should we use huge amounts of tax payers money to support training in areas which will NOT help the UK/economy to prosper!?
How do you determine what is a useless area? Some courses may look meaningless, eg history, geography, classics etc, but actually provide highly desirable skills which at the end of the day are infinitely more transferable than something as insular as mobile phone technology, however obviously useful that may appear to be0
