Government should introduce subsidies to bus companies UK wide for families travelling. Single parents dont always have someone they can leave their children with and if you live in rural locations buses are irregular and expensive which makes taking kids out and about or just going to a local clothes shop very expensive. All areas should operate similar bus charges per mile. We are supposed to be trying to go green but public transport costs do not reflect this.0

I think over 55's should not be penalised for part time work, or others if there are no full time positions available in the area. In my area it is difficult to get full time work but older people can be worse off working as unless they can find a job working 30+ hours the help they get is minimal and at their age their health\bone conditions can make a lot of posts impossible for them to do.0

If train tickets are TOD and have NOT been collected then customers should be able to amend them for a £10 fee, plus any fare increase. At present with some\most companies they have to rebook the correct tickets and claim a refund on the original tickets minus a £10 admin fee. Not all people can afford to pay for the tickets twice, then await a refund.0

Customers should be able to change their tickets from postal to TOD(Tickets on departure) if the tickets havent turned up within statutory delivery times, instead of having to pay to have them re-sent special delivery or to pay to rebook new, more expensive tickets if there is no time to post new ones out. Obviously there is issue of both sets of tickets being used, but surely its not customers fault if the tickets are not delivered to the correct address and they should not be penalised? If companies made recorded\special delivery options more affordable, surely this owuld reduce this.0

Halifax bounced direct debit approx 1am on "due date" even though only £1 over agreed overdraft and customer did online fast payment into account at 3am. Unacceptable. Banking day should run midnight-midnight or 9-5 and DDs shouldn't be bounced in early hours of morning on due date!0

Pensioners have to declare their stay in hospital and their pension is deducted for that time. So they are in fact paying for treatment. No one else pays for hospital stays. The bills still have to be paid on the home services whilst a pensioner is in hospital.0

Parents are encouraged to put their children to outside activities\clubs etc to encourage their childs personal growth and other interests but for parents on low incomes this is very expensive and often outwith their means, especially if clothing\equipment is required. Young children shouldnt have to be made aware of the huge social gap and should be able to do some of the cheaper things their friends from better off families can do. Most usually miss out on holidays\days out, at least make swimming, after school activities within their grasp, and public transport costs to get to them affordable!0

There should be no stamp duty for first time buyers to encourage and help them to get on the property ladder.

Alcohol is available in too many places and the licence to sell alcohol should be more exspensive. The late night levy fee does not make the people who sell alcohol responsible before midnight (cinderella fee) Alcohol takes hours to take effect. 10pm would be realistic.0

Dear PM, when you next meet with the President of the great USA, could you make it very plain that we in the UK deplore completely the quite common removal of claws from cats by US "cat-lovers". It is completely unacceptable to maim these gentle creatures like this and should be outlawed.0
