And do make sure you send them an itemised invoice for your time, cost of calls, postage etc ;) And put on it that the account must be settled within 30 days otherwise you will commence action to recover the money...

    Thats why we like you....:D

( I did do this to Nat West. Charged them £35 a letter and gave them the choice of wiping it from the charges, paying me, or going to County Court....it worked a treat. .....Do unto others as they would do unto you!)

Make it "please find attached a copy of the letter" and yes I would put in a claim for distress caused, and as stated an itemised bill for everything you have had to do (including getting a photo copy of the Barclaycard letter)

  • Well, letter was sent, but I don't honestly expect to hear anything back from Worst Cretins.

Am hoping Barclaycard will respond though, as sent them a letter too, in response to the letter they sent confirming that I don't owe the account, to express my concern that Worst Cretins won't bother answering my letter to them.

I'm not sure you can do much more at the moment - you at least KNOW that you are clear and they can't touch you

Agreed, though a letter from Worst Cretins confirming what I asked would be somewhat reassuring.

if you tell them that this matter had caused you distress etc ( as above ) they HAVE to reply to you.

If they dont, then go to the Financial Ombudsman.

Well, heard nothing from either Worst Credit or Barclaycard.

Feel as if should follow this up, but not sure can be bothered anymore.

Thought this was all resolved, considering had a letter from Barclaycrap confirming that it was an error on their part.

Yet today receive letter from Worst Credit chasing the same debt!
    :(

I'll, obviously, send worst credit a copy of the letter from Barclaycard again, but beyond that - any advice?

    Please?
