    we are in the same boat with them, but and the big but is i have only just realised after 4 years of paying them, that the debt does not even exist. Gutted, angry i could go on..... anyone got any advice?

    iv sent a SAR, and im waiting on the response. So overwhelmed by this i dont know how to word the letter which is gonna basically say give the money back and do you realise how much stress you have caused my husband, while he is being treated for clinical depression

    Any advice would be really appreciated
    Now in control and will be Debt free by 2014

    Well, firstly apologies for the delayed reponse - didn't realise this thread was still active!

    Did you ever receive a response to the SAR/send a letter? I, personally, recommend against referring to your husband's diagnosis - it won't have any impact on the debt and debt collectors are not sympathetic people - neither the individual who reads the letter nor the company itself will care, so they don't need to know.
