When clicking the Thanks Button the actual thanks does not always show under the thanked poster until a page refresh is executed.

Got ccleaner, Quince, but havn't ticked the advanced section where it starts with 'menu order cache'....thought it was too advanced for me. Could explain why I couldn't clear the decks.

I have to go into explorer view and change thew encodeing for it to show properly for me but it doesnt stop the problem from happening at a later date

The original trouble was to do with Tiscali Accelerator, it's now disabled and giving me proper pages.

Have now renamed MSE on my favourites as "Press Control-F5".

I have disabled tiscali accelerator and the pages are now loading fine but when I click the thanks bottom it is still taking me to the top of the page.Also when I click on the show me,it takes me to the top of the page?

Any ideas..

Just checked the thanks button, seems Ok as you can see. I suppose people with Google Desktop and On Speed would be having the same problem.
Am logging on to this site, Jay, with a disabled speeder upper then switching it on. Hoping then to build up some real cached pages.
Mind you everyone's on broadband these days.

Just discovered that if I log out then in I can use the thanks button

Don't know if it's relevent but I have single click shortcuts on the desktop of each section in which I am interested. For example Green board, silver savers, subscription list and so on.
It is quicker for me to go from forum to forum by going back to the desktop rather than fiddling with the mouse and cursor.
Also have to make sure that the temp file in (security) 'advanced' on internet options is unticked.
