RBS do a young person's account called Revolve, and you can use a picture of your own choice. Costs a fiver. You can also choose a picture from their library and that's free. You could put Martin on there and it'd scare you off spending.
I'd love a card with a pic on to scare people with** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Well, most people do not know anything about a Vanquis Card, but you are informing more people on here about them, and so what if you have a poor credit rating, does it really bother you what some stranger in a supermarket queue thinks?
It wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
I personally couldn't give a monkeys. I can just appreciate how others might give a monkeys because I sometimes find myself looking at the chip and pin reader thinking "that's a nice card". Surely it is very useful to a canny shop keeper - anyone with a card incurring a monthly fee the retailer can immediately size them up as a style victim who is not careful with money and overcharge accordingly - no?I think....0

It may be sad, but I notice what plastic people in front of me in a queue are using.
And yes I like to have a nice smart looking debit/credit card.
It's each persons opinion on this, but I very much like to pull out the stylish looking plastic and not afraid to admit it.0 -
The strangest card I have is my one that I have that is transparent - makes it really hard to read the numbers on it!0

It is very sad, you and others like you are a product of the media and sales hype surrounding such shallow thinking.
Very, very sad.0 -
Snobs don't use debit cards anyway, they use credit cards.
lol I do find it laughable how ppl like to be snobby over a credit card. What is so good about using money you don't have?
desperate.
If you want to look 'good', then get a private customer credit or something.
Anyway, at least the banks sales plan is working, e.g trying to make customers feel good/act more powerful than they are., cough cough advantage gold account ect.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I find that whenever I take my cards out in a shop, the people in the queue behind me are always looking.
It could be the fact that I have to pull 8 cards out of my wallet and fiddle through them all to find the right one to use. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
