pufferfish,

What happens is a scammer sets up an account with a courier for their own made up small business and ships a few parcels etc.
When a few bills have been paid they set up a website and increase their parcel numbers on the back of genuine people.

The bills are paid so the courier has no alarm bells ringing.

When numbers get a bit too big the courier notices they must be a re seller and makes contact.
This is when the plug is pulled and customers and courier are left high and dry.

Simple really so go careful in who you use.

I wouldn't trust Parcel Monkey as well.
3 months and still not heard from my lost claim. Even another user here around offerd to intervine and still nothing
No one answers their phones. A shame!!!

I think you will struggle to find another carrier who would charge as MUCH as £21.65.
My favourite at the moment is http://www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk/ - DHL express 24 hour with extra cover would be about £15.

I am really sorry that you have had such a bad experience with Parcel2Go.com. We truly want you, and indeed all of our customers, to have a great experience with us and events like this genuinely disappoint us. We have set up a dedicated email address to handle complaints like this and I would encourage you to email me on quality@parcel2go.com all the details (order number, dates etc.) and I can assure you that I will investigate this. I may not be able to give you the answer you would like but I can assure you I will look into it in detail and provide a full response. Kindest regards, George Iveson, Quality Controller

George if you want to post on these boards as a company rep you need to get yourself a proper ID like the Parcel Monkey chap has.
I wouldnt worry about szero - the bad experience was all in his mind.

As far as I can see this is all orders not just first order.

Felt mad enough to join the forum and add my experience.

Used Parcel2go to book a bike collection and delivery but the collector never turned up. Contacted P2G to rearrange, but once again the collector didn't turn up. Contacted P2G a third time and was told the second collection had never been arranged despite their message to me that it had, they advised that they could rearrange for the next day (they obviously operate from a standard script!) but they couldn't guarantee that I would not be left waiting a 3rd day. Asked for a refund 5 times before they said that they would refund to an account - why they would think that I want to use them again?

Nitty - can I ask what time you booked your collection and was it for a same day collection?

How much does it weigh? and what size is it? Without those details its very hard to give an idea of prices.

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a courier to send a laptop worth under £100 please.

Have used P2G and ParcelMonkey before but not for ages.

Cheers
