Parcel2Go with HDNL is £5.99 plus VAT. (£7.04). If you go through quidco you'll also get £4 cashback so it only costs you £3.04 all in.

I've been shopping around this morning for prices to Australia, for a parcel <2kgs but volumetric size 3.7kg. It's too big for Royal Mail sadly, as their max dimensions L+W+H is 90cm.

The cheapest I've found so far is £31.99 with parcelflight.co.uk (not specified which carrier, £50 insurance cover) but I'm not familiar with these -has anyone used them? I'm not keen on booking without knowing the carrier.

ParcelBee used to do Oz for about £25 so I am underquoted on my listings :frown:

Alternatively, dak another reliable but cheap service to Oz? Help please!

I'm looking to send a 16kg parcel within the UK with dimensions 60cm*60cm*40cm.

The item I'm sending has a value of around £800 and I'm therefore looking for extra compensation cover. The problem is that 'Parcel Monkey' (which I regularly use) only covers upto £500, at a reasonable price (£5) and all the sites I've looked up charge an silly fee of around £15-20 for a £750 cover.

Can someone recommend a cheap and reliable service that can fulfil my requirements?

Not sure robot1000, however if you package it massively, then that should be your "insurance" When I £300-£400 PC's, I put insurance as £50. For higher priced goods eg: £600-£700, I may raise the compensation.

Can any one confirm that they get £4 quidco cashback per email address used? If so, Id be thinking of using their UPS service lol

    hi
first post but been lurking, prior to sending some packages. here's my experiences so far, not good.

On Thursday last week I sent 5 thirty kg boxes from scotland to london with parcel monkey, they used citylink. boxes arrived but one of the boxes arrived damaged, had a printer inside which was all smashed up, recipient says it looks like box had fallen from a big height or had been thrown about, they said it was in a right mess.

Following on from that sent another 2 thirty kg boxes yesterday from scotland to an address in Germany. Used Parcels Please who used Interlink Express. They collected the boxes but one box has gone missing, no record of it on their system, they say they only picked up one but I have bit of paper saying they picked up two

Edit: Interlink and Parcels Please are now saying they think that both boxes have been given the same number as they're seeing "double scans" on their system. Both companies are being extremely helpful, going out of their way to track things and getting in touch with drivers etc.

final edit: both boxes arrived, though one was delivered one day later than the other one, and they were both going to the same address. Turned out Interlink had put the same label on both parcels as they were going to the same place as they were having printer problems. Parcels Please phoned me at least once a day for the three days the parcels were en route to update me on the status. Cannot praise Parcels Please highly enough, excellent prices, service, and reliable.
