I just write the consignment number in the top right hand corner and point it out to the driver when he collects.

CL don't have a system in place for giving colection receipts but they want you to sign when you hand it over. Daft really as they should be giving YOU the receipt that they've collected the item and it's in their possession (and their responsibility).
One of the (many) things which I don't like about CL.

I always ask for (and get) a "receipt" from the CityLink driver which is just him signing/dating a piece of CL headed notepaper. Not sure whether it would stand up in the event of a lost parcel, but at least it's something. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Hi everyone,
I need to send big parcel to Czech Republic (48cmx48cmx48cm) full of baby clothes.
I had found Interparcel.com who will deliver it via DPD for £21+VAT or DHL Europe for £26+VAT.
Anyone has good experience with them? Is it really that easy that you book it and pay it online and they will pick it up? I understand you can do it as a private person (I am not a business). Anyone found any one cheaper?0 -
Does anyone know which services deliver from Northern Ireland to Europe? A number of sites I've checked say they will only delivery from the UK Mainland.
I'm seeking the cheapest service for a 20kg package to Sweden but there's so many services, it's difficult to check which will deliver from NI. Perhaps if anyone has a similar experience?0 -
I just saw on parcelbee website they changed the price. The booking form is still not available. Maybe they will come back? Has anybody got refund from them?0

PB may have put up their price, but in the past couple of days they have had many disgruntled customers.
In the words of someone important
"It takes many years to build up a good reputation, but it can be destroyed in seconds" or something along those lines0
