Does anyone know of any carriers that will provide compensation for engraved crystal glass blocks?

I'm pretty sure Royal Mail Special Delivery covers them which is fine up to 2kg but anything over that is going to put potential customers off if I pass on the Special Delivery fee for over 2kg (£21.65!!).

All the couriers I've looked at state they won't cover glassware.

I doubt you will get glass cover, can you invest in some very thick polystyerine or something ?

They are outside the terms of Royal Mail insurance too. Is this a new business? Is this something that you are going to be sending reguarly because there are ways around it, but its not quick or simple.

I have gone through pages on this topic but still unsure who to use. MSE used to have a list of the good, bad & ugly courier companies but I cannot find it now.
I need to send a games console worth approx £200 on a next day delivery, any suggestions please?
I saw PPP a few times but have no idea who they are. I have used Freight search & directparcel delivery in the past but they do not appear to exist anymore unfortunately. Thanks
    Comping from May 2012 :D

Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help :)

well with most couriers for glass, instead of paying extra for the insurance, invest extra in padding for the glass and hopefully it wont break.

We're thinking of going with Parcel Bee:
    http://www.parcelbee.co.uk/page81.html

Parcelbee 72hr Worldwide Parcel Delivery Service £24.99
This service will collect your parcel from any address in the UK & deliver the parcel to any address in the World.
Each parcel sent on this service comes with a massive £50.00 worth of free insurance.
Collections & deliverys are made between 8am -6pm Monday - Friday only.
You may have to print a label to use this service.
Your parcel may be collected & delivered by either DHL,FEDEX,PARCELFORCE,TNT or UPS.
You will be informed via email of the collection & Delivery company.
The max size of any one parcel is 120cm X 60cm X 60cm
The max weight of any one parcel is 30kg.
Order cut off time is 9am each weekday.

We think that the service is good value. Can anyone:
    1) Recommend a place to get a box that is reasonably tough to handle a trip to China without being damaged and is of the above dimensions?
    2) point out any flaws with Parcel Bee. Should we stay away?

    Thanks!
