Looks like I'll be using Gwizz from now on. Just got a quote for a 5Kg parcel to New Zealand - £63 via UPS. The same on ParcelMonkey via DHL - £130!!! I've used PM for so long with no problems but I can't justify that sort of expense!
Any other suggestions before I go with Gwizz?
for long haul transglobal are always worth a look. http://www.transglobal.org.uk
well established and a variety of carriers. You dont give a size only weight but if it is not large in size for its weight transglobal would be around the £45 mark with my favourite UPS0 -

Is it me or are Gwizz a bunch of amateurs?
The delay on the shipping labels are beyond a joke, I rung to speed it up a bit and there's a blind man manning the phones who can't use a computer and the *1* person who can book on parcels is away till 2:30pm??
By the time I get a waybill UPS man will have been and gone..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I agree entirely. Once I've booked and paid, I want either a confirmation screen with links to the labels to print or a confirmation e-mail with links to them.
If a re-seller hasn't got these then as someone mentioned earlier they haven't got a "connection" to the carrier and so they're batched and booked at a set time (messy). What happens if the person who sends the bookings doesn't make it in one morning, or has an accident, or there's a power cut? No bookings, no labels, no collections...0 -

UPS has been and gone, so my hopes of the customer getting their stuff before the weekend are dashed.
Interparcel at least get the label out straight away, even if they then cancel the collection...
The last Gwhizz label was full of typos and the weight was down as 30kg instead of 3kg, their T&Cs are a bit comical too."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

That blind man owns the company.
I assume that you had booked a UPS collection elsewhere as well, because how would they know to come and collect before GWizz had booked a collection? But yes, the label situation is annoying. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Blind or otherwise, it's no good to me that a parcel company cannot get me weighbills out in a prompt manner, surely if they are going to make a go of it they need more than 1 person booking the parcels on?
I booked one in the morning, and later knowing UPS were coming I booked another, but by the time the second weighbill was emailed, UPS man had been, there was over an hour between.
Once parcels are wrapped and ready to go, I want them gone, having them sat there while others are being collected is too frustrating for me.
Am I expecting too much of them?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

The card payment and google checkout part does not seem to work, so I gave up.
