If you post the dimensions of the boxes, that would help a lot.

You couldn't get a quote from city-link direct because they are a business account only courier, so you have to go via a broker.

If you post the dimensions on here someone will probably find you a nice cheap delivery quote.

Prob is I don't know the size. Its a space saver wheel for my car in one parcel and the other parcel is made up of the tray it fits into and the jack etc.

    Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a company that will insure a laptop in the UK.

Laptop probably worth about £100 but still would like to have it covered.

Have used P2G and ParcelMonkey recently but don't think they cover laptops.

    Cheers

In that case try https://www.gwizzcouriers.co.uk, https://www.interparcel.co.uk and https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk, however for all of these you will need to find a tape measure, otherwise anyvan's pretty much your only hope

https://www.gwizzcouriers.co.uk will insure laptops, but I don't think many others will because of the screen, screens are a right pain in the ar5e to ship

If I was the seller I would measure, but I'm buying and the seller hasn't packaged yet.

competition on anyvan, price now down to £38 - I was hoping to halve that!

  • You're being very ambitious with half of that, after all, anyvan is just a load of men with vans, no network or anything

Why can't the seller measure it and tell you? If they want the sale then they would be pretty daft not to!

Maybe I am being optimistic, it was a bargain find really, from a car forum, I just told someone I would arrange a courier and buy his spare tyre, jack etc without thinking it would be complicated.
