Which is why I won't be using MyHermes. Their service is bad enough at the best of times. ;)

Parcel Monkey have increased their City Link prices for the next day, under 10 kilos from £7.02 to £11.38, both including VAT: £9.49 without VAT

This is over 50% increase and is a real shame as they gave an excellent service at a low price.

Their web site says they still offer the best next day delivery prices on line.

    Is this true?

Leaving aside the likes of My Hermes, is there anyone comparable for price and service?

Obviously the best, can you advise?
    https://www.ipostparcels.co.uk can probably beat that
as can interparcel, as well as fast lane international, in fact, most carriers can now beat that!!!

Has anyone had any recent experiences with collect+ or any of those drop-off parcel services? I've never used them before but a en ebay buyer recommended them.

And also, is there a limit on size that RM will take standard parcels? I have a parcel that is huge - 45cm x 55cm x 60cm but only weighs 3kg. I've tried a few couriers and their costs exceed the cost for an RM Std Parcel but there is nothing on the RM website about box sizes.

    Thanks

    as a recipient. no problems
as a sender(returns services) no problems
  • Any recommendations or advice on shipping two large parcels from Sussex to the Scottish Highlands please? We're on the mainland but on the north coast, KW postcode. We need to ship a couple of electric bikes that are about 55 kilos each. DHL quoted £150 each, yikes!

Anyone used ipostparcels.com before? need to find an alternative to Parcel Monkey now, i had been using their mailing bag rate for the past year and it worked well but after the £3 increase it is just not viable now.

I've used them and been happy. There havent been any incidents so cannot say how well they deal with a problem.
Good point is your are dealing direct with the carrier UK Mail not through a third party.
Note its extra for a signature and extra for timed collection. If you have a lot of parcels for collection on the same day or are close to the depot so you can drop them off its a very good price in todays market.
