+1 for Gwizz, they are what I use the most, they have been having some issues recently with phones going down and automated bookings going down, but it has not affected service, atleast not for me anyway.

I'm trying to send three parcels to three addresses with the same carrier for my first order at myparceldelivery.com.

But the damn quote system seems to want to separate the three into three distinct orders. You can say '3 parcels' in the quote page, but there's only one box for postcode. Implying you want all three to the same recipient.

Though I trust MYHermes will collect all in one pick-up, I'm hoping the system says at the end of my first booking 'Do you want to add any more parcels' BEFORE payment. Anyone done that and remember? ?

If only because I want TopCashBack (currently 20% for your first order) on all three, not just one.

I'm exploring their 'eBay Automated Shipping' system at the mo. Wonder if that's any more integrated?
  • You do have to do all three parcels separately, but they will all be collected in one go, I don't know about myparceldelivery but I know on other websites you normally add your parcel to your basket, then pay for the all in one, e.g. parcelmonkey

Here is my experience of using Hermes for the first time.

Hermes courier failed to collect parcel on the scheduled date. Website says that in these circumstances they will contact you to reschedule the collection, but he appeared the following day on spec with no prior contact from Hermes or him.

In the meantime I had found it would cost only £1 more to send the parcel with City Link's next day service booked through Parcel Monkey. City Link collected the parcel on the agreed date. Worth paying a bit more for a much better service.

its prob worth the extra £1 , but city link turn up when they feel like it too
  • I've been using Interparcel and from my experience I have been using this website even though a little more costly I go for the UPS standard service which says delivery 2 days but UPS only do a next day service and when you schedule a delivery they pick up the date scheduled and also you can narrow the window to as much as a 2/3 hour slot because I don't know about you I simply don't have the time to sit around waiting all day as time is money, and it's the same guy everytime so I do quite rate them they'll do any parcel upto 25kg 60x60x50 i think any larger than that the UPS doesn't come up in the results, myparceldelivery is also quite good but I find the booking process is a little long winded, and Citylink employ mostly retards who couldn't give a monkeys what's inside your package and seem very disgruntled to be doing they're job ironic really we are in a downward market jobs are scarce and they behave this way sorry it's late should stop ranting!

Parcel Monkey have increased their City Link prices for the next day, under 10 kilos from £7.02 to £11.38, both including VAT: £9.49 without VAT

This is over 50% increase and is a real shame as they gave an excellent service at a low price.

Their web site says they still offer the best next day delivery prices on line.

    Is this true?

Leaving aside the likes of My Hermes, is there anyone comparable for price and service?

Obviously the best, can you advise?
