I want to send a packet, tracked, to Saudi Arabia.

Under 2 kilograms: size 22 by 19 by 16 centimetres.

    Any recommendations?

    Thank you
  • Hi

Just seen this on Twitter. City Link price increase:

    Was £6.99+VAT for up to 20Kg, it's now £7.99+VAT

Small Parcel to Saudi Arabia: 1.3 kilograms: size 22 by 19 by 16 centimetres.

The cheapest I can find is Transglobal using TNT: £24.70

TNT also comes up cheapest with some other agents but one or two say they will only collect from business addresses. Is this likely to also apply to Transglobal? I know, I should ask them.

The lowest price not using TNT seems to be Interparcel using Fedex at £36.80.

Can anyone suggest a lower priced solution?

The alternative is to use Royal Mail. Their signed for service is £27.91 but the postage guide on the eBay forum suggests that it may or may not track. Does anyone have any experience of sending to Saudi Arabia?
  • My Hermes advertises weight up to 5kg at £5.99 (inc VAT). Great price until you get into the nitty gritty. Tried to send a guitar weighing only 2.45 kg but their system wouldn't accept as the length plus circumference exceeded the limit. Talk about splitting hairs.Other couriers although more expensive...no problem. Must be air guitars they carry at that price!!

Im not sure I get you?
packages take up space and weight
a large light item can take up the space of multiple heavier items
    so its 1x£5.99 vs 3+x£5.99
    every courier has size restrictions

Due to security issues, TNT will not service any international parcels from private addresses until further notice.

    Fedex on Parcel2go is £34.67
