Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

Been using collect+ for my last 20 deliveries however ive had a customer say that his package arrived as 2 boxes and some items missing. Seems that its been re-opened and repacked into 2 boxes and items stolen.
Contacted collect+ about they say no issues with the package reported. And require a photo of the box before sending and when it was delivered to get a refund. Seems strange can understand the photo when it was delivered. So they are so far washing their hands of it.
So iam now hoping to ditch them. For 5kg+ was going to use citylink but as its about the same price but for less than 5kg is there anywhere cheaper than collect+0 -

THere are loads of wine and beer sellers online - one for example use fedex, another ups (but when you look at their websites it says they don't courier these items - maybe they have a special agreement?).0 -

Hi, yes you're right. Don't know why I didn't think of that:rotfl:0 -
www.ipostparcels.com is the retail booking site for UKmail. Their parcel prices are reasonable for a next day delivery and you can book an am or pm collection for a bit extra which might suit some people. £50 included insurance. Signature on delivery extra. I have not used them for collections yet but have received parcels on time.
Any experience out there?0 -
I have a business account with them, they're reasonably reliable at collecting from me but then i send them a fair few parcels, I don't really know what they're like for one-offs tho0

After a fantastic recommendation here for a parcel delivery company which saved me lots of money I now need a pallet delivered.
So far the best I have found is from Parcel Monkey at £49.99+VAT for a pallet from TR16 5HX to PO38 3NY.
Parcel Monkey sounds fairly reasonable, but after the saving last time, I thought I would test the knowledge here to see if there is better.0 -
https://www.etsltd.co.uk are good, I've used them for all but one of the pallets I've sent ever.0
