Thank you!! also can anyone tell me how i would find out if there are any custom charges for sending a pram abroad

depends on which country it is going to and the value. Recipient pays all the charges as appropriate though, not the sender.

there are services available where the sender covers the fees
however in a seller situation like eBay I wouldnt get involved with that
  • Two of us have wasted over 2hrs trying to use MyHermes website to send a package.

It is so frustrating. Don't bother using them.

Use a courier that has a web site that works or one that you can contact for help!
  • Although I've had some rubbish customer service from them, parcel2go are still the cheapest I can find
  • which counties have custom charges i will either be sending a pram value £400 to southern ireland or france

  • You would not have any charged as only items leaving the EU need to pay customs charges.

Thank you OTB, im not sure I can use parcel monkey as looking at their prohibited items list I think they will only carry it on a no compensation basis, its a craft robo, and all their electrical items seem to come under this :(

Anyone else people can think of, I could do collect+ but as im disabled its not going to be easy as our town centre is rediculous for parking so it will be hit and miss if I can actually park close enough to get to the little shop that do it! (sorry being a pain)
