It's a bit cheeky all right, could be that English is not his first language perhaps. Could you send it by another shipper at the same cost? I'd be concious of my feedback rating.
  • That's the prob, I don't think I can, I've checked everywhere ever metioned on the forums, and the post office

Next cheapest then (trackable) and tell him no problem to send via another shipper, but he needs to top up the difference. If he's reasonable, he'll pay.
  • I'll try, but not holding my breath, I think parcelmonkey would be next best! :undecided

I have just had a buyer with what I though was a bit of a cheek,
In my listing it clearly stated delivery by myHermes, I even selected it on the drop-down on the advanced sell form, then
I got an e-mail just after the auction ended, with no prior contact, quite rudely telling me to send it through a different method,
wondering if anyone else has ever had a problem like this, and what did they do, I think as they couldn't be bothered
to contact me before, and they were quite rude, I'm going to stick to my guns!

Have you checked collect+ if you have a point close to you to drop it off? It could be that they didn't realise you would be using MyHermes, not that it's an excuse for rudeness.
  • collect+ is always the the first I check, as it is so much easier than going to the PO or waiting for a courier, but the package was too large for their network!
  • Hi guys I plan on selling prints over the internet to a world wide audience.

My problem I am facing is the postage and packaging of the prints.

They vary in size, however the biggest will be a1 (84cm - 59cm)

I think the best type of packaging would be postal tubes?

I am based in Kent, England.

What the the cheapest way to send oversea's? I have researched and the cheapest I can find is around £50 which is ridiculous. I know some companies who ship worldwide only charge about £5-10 shipping.

    Thanks in advance

Couriers don't like postal tubes, they prefer triangular ones!
