    thanks for your reply

with insurance this is working out around £35 which is far better than I had managed to find.

  • If you could skim 10cm off so your package is 110x60x60 it can be sent through the package delivery company for £6.50 and they always give a top notch service

  • Have used thepackagedeliverycompany about a dozen or so times over the last month, usually ordering at about 10pm at night. Always collected next day and always delivered the day after.

First time used their service this week and really pleased and packages arrived next day. Have since arranged several other collections. Bargain price at £6.50 for next day delivery for up to 30 kg as previously used Parcelflight. Definately recommend and customer service very efficient.

Wondering if anyone has used a reliable parcel company to send to republic of Ireland.
Want to send a mobile phone worth £250. So dont want to take a chance with a courier thats not as reliable.

Has to be valid with ebay and paypal as well. Do paypal accept certain ones only or does it only need online tracking?

Anyone used a courier to send to ROI without issues?

I live in ROI. The postal service here (An Post) is generally reliable and fast. The general consensus is that it's better than the Royal Mail. I lived most of my life in the UK and I agree, An Post is much better.

Point I'm making is, I'd recommend sending the phone via Royal Mail International Signed-For. It will take three working days to reach Ireland and will be tracked and insured. Cheaper than a courier too, so very MSE. An Post deliver UK originated items on the morning after receipt.

@ #2130 Not true, to be insured for a £250 phone you would have to use a courier because royal mail only insure up to £46 to the republic. I'd recommend worldwide parcel services or the package delivery comapny, they both seem quite reliable and will provide additional insurance

EDIT: I just found out that if you have top cash back you can get some on worldwide parcel services
