Hi
Cheapest I know of is a City Link next day service up to 10Kg with Parcel Monkey at £5.85+VAT (although Parcel Monkey have been slated for their customer service forever on this forum).
collectmyparcel.com have just launched a City Link next day service for up to 15Kg at £6.99+VAT (their customer service is very good). Also top-up with £100 and get £5 free, see here http://www.collectmyparcel.com/topup.html
Also another Parcel Monkey service may work for you, City Link Packet, http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/bag-price
That's all I can think of at the moment0 -
Please help!!!
I need to send regular small parcels, around 50+ per week, (small shoebox sized) that weigh around 1kg.
These need to be signed for upon collection and will be going to business users so will need to be delivered 9-5 mon to fri.
What is the cheapest way to do this???
I was going to use myhermes but they have a lot of bad reviews and can take up to 5 days. RM are ok but you have to take to postoffice and this would take a lot of time.
The items to be posted are not worth much so don't need to be insured but because of this the postage needs to be cheap.
Many thanks in advance for any help received
Lowest price around for next day delivery is www.thepackagedeliverycompany.com
at £6.50 with no vat payable. Mine are collected and delivered by UPS so tracking is great. But if you are sending 50+ per week , it would be worth your while asking either Parcelforce , or Ups , or someone for an account, but if you dont want to go down that road then ask who ever you want to use for a discount as all would give you something off their base price for a volume that large(some may want you to prove that amount of volume first,(i know Parcels 2 Go would ask to see 2 weeks trading history before they gave you a lower price)0 -
Has anyone heard of a courier services company called anyvan.com. I think they are a courier auction service ... just wondering if I could get some feedback on their service as I have just sold my piano on ebay and am looking to get it delivered efficently but would like to keep the costs down to a minimum :question:0

Hi
Never tried them, have used boxby.co.uk, heard of shiply.com, bit on them here, http://www.thegoodwebguide.co.uk/website-of-the-year/awards-2011/one-year-on-angus-elphinstone-founder-of-anyvan/13493
Hope this helps.0 -

Has anyone actually used the Courier that the member smartshopper2011 above recommends called The Package Delivery Company?
They sound too cheap to be true and if you Google their address (24 Greville Street, London) it comes up with a virtual office company so it sounds a bit dodgy to me!
Plus that address is one of those buildings with lots of companies in with the same address
Has anyone actual proof that they have used them and that they are any good?0 -
Go on to ebay and search for a member called thepackagedeliverycompany0

Just for additional information on this company: I paid for a collection on the 15th, the courier didn't turn up (the courier said they never got the instruction). I notified Interparcel the following day and they apologised and offered a rebooking with another courier for a collection that day. This courier also didn't turn up (they said they allocated the job to the wrong driver). I spoke with Interparcel again and they told me there was nothing they could do about it and offered to refund my payment.
I cannot imagine using this company again.0 -
I am not sure if I am posting in the right place for this, but I came accross valuecourier.co.uk last week, when trying to find someone to move my old 3 piece suite down to my sons flat. They got it moved from Leeds to Leicester for just under £100, which seemed a little expensive initially, but they were the cheapest I could find...unless I wanted to wait for over a week. I would definately recomend them if you want something large moving.0
