Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

Hi all,

There's a light that I can buy in the states at less than half the price over here, but the manufacturers won't ship outside the US.

I can have it delivered to friends of a friend in California and then picked up and shipped back over here.

The parcel is 26 inches x 26 inches x 13 inches and weighs 8 pounds.

Can anyone suggest who I should contact?

I am wanting to have a Electric bed picked up with dimensions of 188 length, 133 wide, 50 height and 29kg wait, but i cant find any courier that will pick it up, any ideas?
It would be picked up from Canterbury to Near dartford in kent.

Google for 'man with van' or 'man van' or removals in your area. I believe that the cheapest charge for this from man with van would be £25 for hiring him for an hour.

Looking for a company that will pick up

101cmx10x61 (lxwxh) and weight is 32kg

But it would need to have its own labels as this is getting collected and brought back to me

Is this from a private seller or from a business; if the latter, can they stick it on a pallet?

The size is too big for a pallet (unless it was a double pallet which would loads to ship.

Far better to use a man and a van service

It would be OK as a wide pallet. About £60. But for the distance stated, a man & van may work out cheaper.

I got a man and a van in the end and he delivered yesterday, cost £92 .
