Hi, collectmyparcel.com is £7.46+VAT with DHL (1-2 day), most of mine get there next day and you can pay with PayPal. Hope that helps.

Just tried collectmyparcel.com DHL and got a quote of (£10.83 + VAT)

    65 x 50 x 50cm 15kg

www.smartcourier.co.uk do city link £7.98 +vat Have used their HDNL before and its ok.

    www.wedelivertheworld.co.uk DHL £9.99 +VAT
  • Thanks, think myHermes are 3 days or even longer.

www.thepackagedeliverycompany.com their website does not look very professional, plus VAT or not.

Dont charge VAT, mine was delivered by UPS within 24 hrs.So ok for me at £6.50.
    Agree about the website tho.

MyHermes are just really bad, i would never use them again.

Supposedly PM are going to offer RM soon, so it would be nice to see a cheaper service given to us, unless of course it's the same price for which I'd rather just go down to the post office

Looking at City Link Next Day via Parcel Monkey the total would be £17.50 That includes £100 insurance. Just visit their site and fill in the no obligation quote box.

DHL 3+ Day Service via Parcel2Go is approx. £19.35 includes £100 insurance.

Personally l prefer City Link and not just because of the price.

Myhermes are cheap to Scotland and cheapest if you book direct on their website rather than through a reseller. You can pay a bit more and get a signature on delivery.
You do need to allow 5, 6 or possibly more working days from booking for your parcel to arrive.

DPD are not someone who i have used to send but i have had 3 parcels sent to me on their next day service over the last 3 months.
All 3 have taken two days to deliver.
When you log onto the tracking the website gives you an anticipated delivery time within a 1 hour slot which is a really nice touch but then they have failed to even make the day let alone the time.
I gather the problem is a shortage of drivers in the South East. If you are a DPD driver you can introduce a mate and get £300 payment. There are way to many courier companies following each other round with half empty vans if there was some consolidation we might all get a better service..

    I dont see how
RM dont do residential collections on an ad hoc basis.
So would PM be collecting the items themselves and then injecting them into the RM network?
RM tracked would be the only product thats relative to their business model i would say but i dont see the scope for profit with then issue of collections

Unless they do it in the same way PayPal do,Ie you pay and print your Royal mail label and take it to the post office.
but if you are going to have to go to the Post Office anyway, you might as well pay there and then.:(
