Re Myhermes. I sell a low value item that costs me less than £3 on ebay, which weighs just under a kilo, for the last year I have been sending it 1st class RM costing £3.35. Rarely did they arrive within 2 days. The last one I sent with RM, on the day the prices went up, cost £3.71 and took 6 working days to arrive.
Since then I have sent 9 parcels with Myhermes, everyone has arrived within 3 working days, the last even being delivered on Good Friday, which strictly speaking was two working days. I can keep track of them and I now know when they have been delivered, rather than rely on feedback to know they got it, which buyer don't always leave for weeks. Oh and I no longer have to drive 2 miles to the Post Office most days. I take things as I find them and so far I can only praise Myhermes.

I used thepackagedeliverycompany on thursday cost £6.50 no vat ,collected by UPS delivered before 12 noon the next day very good value for the money.

I sent a parcel with City Link, via Parcel Monkey nearly two weeks ago.

The tracking has gone dead, refers the addressee back to me, and each time I email Parcel Monkey, they just say they will ask City Link.

Can anyone advise how I can get Parcel Monkey to get in touch with someone who can locate my parcel or tell me what is going on?

Sorry but this isnt going to help, but all you can do is carry on emailing them, they really are useless , and they never help customers when things go wrong with their service, this forum has story's like yours all over it.

I've been using Parcelmonkey recently with no problems, and have been very happy with Citylink's service. But having read a lot of the reviews on here, saying they are no help if things go wrong, I'm not too keen on sending my most recent parcel with them as it's worth £150, which I can't risk losing. Is there a parcel service that also uses Citylink that someone could recommend? Many thanks in advance.

you woul be using the same courier anyway?
most resellers are l;little help when you have issues
thats the pitfall of getting a cheaper service

My question is......Is there a reseller who uses Citylink and who can offer a reliable and helpful service should a parcel go missing?

Is there a problem with asking that?

I do beg your pardon for sullying this board with my inane request.
